The first one has kind of a La Salle meets Terraplane meets Packard look, unlike the direct Packard ripoff one.

I actually went to a Summer semester in the Soviet Union shortly before it collapsed as part of my degree program at the University of Michigan. What a tremendous experience. I remember seeing ZILs, Chaikas, Volgas, and more Ladas than you can possibly imagine. Oh and the Trabants from East Germany — the very reason we couldn't run on a daily basis for exercise because breathing was horrendous.
